I would like to share with you an experience that has had a profound impact on my life and isn’t readily available to most visitors. We will engage in a nature connection practice within an olive grove. Olive trees have been an integral part of this land for thousands of years, serving as its true guardians and hosts.  Through thousands of years they have been providing countless benefits to humans, offering health, wealth, and stability. These dependable and cherished trees have stood the test of time.  We will immerse ourselves in their history and essence. It is time to get to know them and connect!

The trail

Our experience will begin at the very heart of the olive tree valley with a trail passing through olive groves with some centuries-old olive trees and other types of dense vegetation. After the practice we will share a picnic with vegan appetisers derived mostly from olive trees to celebrate their generosity, products such as olive bread, olive oil, variety of olives, olive leaf tea etc.

General information

This is a very slow and relaxed walk with a route no more than 1 km and of approximately 3 hrs in total for all the activities. We start with an opening circle to meet each other and ground ourselves in the space. Throughout the walk, you will be given a series of “invitations,” all of which allow you to drop into the body and be in relation with the environment. Guides work in partnership with the natural environment to see what nature is offering that day. This means every walk is a completely different experience.

There will be opportunities on the walk to share stories and connect with other participants. The walk will close with a circle. This is a come as you are space, meaning all ways of being are welcome.

Wearing weather-appropriate attire is advised, including comfortable closed-toe walking shoes. Additionally, please remember to bring along essentials such as water, sunscreen, and anti-mosquito cream.
